The Holy Qur’an is the Muslim holy book which guides their beliefs and lifestyles
Since the 7th century A.D. the Holy Qur’an has instructed Muslims not to drink alcohol.
The Muslim prophet Muhammad claimed that alcohol made people forget to pray and that being drunk was the work of the “devil”.
Alcohol was thought to be responsible for fights, quarrels, ill health and family disputes.
Some politicians are now calling for the ban on alcohol use to be lifted.
Even perfume in Pakistan has no alcohol in it.
