Arabic word 'al-kuhl'.
There are many varieties of alcohol, most of which are very
harmful. The type that is found in alcoholic drinks is known as
ethanol. Ethanol is a clear colourless liquid. Ethanol's
chemical formula is CH3 CH2 OH.
Alcohol is a dangerous depressant drug. It affects the way you
think, behave and can be addictive.
Types of non-drinkable alcohol are found in a variety of
household products like mouthwash, perfume and deodorant.
