Young Booze Busters

The Vikings

The Vikings drank a type of alcohol called mead, which was a kind of beer made from honey.

To celebrate a wedding, the Vikings drank mead for the 28 days of the moon’s cycle. This celebration became known as a “honeymoon“.

Vikings drank mead from large horns and would drink it all in one go! This made them very drunk which often led to fights and arguments.
